Guides

Stratified is a free web app that turns iNaturalist observations into phenology wheels, interaction networks, maps and timelines. These short guides cover the basics.

• How to export your iNaturalist observations as a CSV

Which columns to tick on iNaturalist's export page, and what to do with the file.

• What is a phenology wheel?

Reading flowering and fruiting timing around the year, and comparing it with documented records.

• Plant–pollinator interaction networks

Which animals use which plants at your site, from your own records or published research.
